A church is now meeting in Hopkinsville for people who have gotten disillusioned with religion, but who are looking for and longing for a real relationship with God. The church is called THE CROSSING and meets every Sunday morning inside of Bradford Square Mall near JC Penney's. Bradford Square Mall is located at 4000 Ft Campbell Blvd. in Hopkinsville.
THE CROSSING meets every Sunday morning for worship at 10:30. The worship experience at THE CROSSING is non-traditional and informal, but totally centered on Christ. We also offer Preschool and Kids Time ministries for all our boys, girls, and little ones each Sunday morning. On Sunday nights, we meet in small groups that we call Life Groups. Our Life Groups meet in the homes of our members and focus on getting to know God and one another better. We are a group of people who are all about life - doing life with God, doing life with one another, and doing life to the very fullest.
I want to invite you to come and experience what God is doing at THE CROSSING!!"

JESUS came so that we could connect to God …
Our lives are made up of connections. We are connected to our earthly family at birth. As we live our lives we become connected to people through school, work, sports and common interests.
What many people don't realize is that God is in the business of connections. He very much wants to be personally connected to our lives.
As much as God wants that personal connection with us, He cannot just "make it happen". Something that the Bible calls "sin" keeps us from being connected to the amazing love that God has for each one of us. You see, the Bible says that you and I are separated from God because of sin.
Sin is more than a thought, an action, a feeling, or a word that we might speak. Sin is a condition of our heart and soul. According to God's Word, our sin has separated you and me from God. But here is what is really cool - God did something to bridge the separation between us and Himself.
God paid for our sin by coming to this world in the person of His Son and our Savior, Jesus Christ. In fact, the Bible tells us that "...in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself..." That simply means that God Himself has done everything that needs to be done to bring you and me back to Him. And He has done this through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Even though this is great news, our connection with God will only happen if we choose to make an important personal decision. Making this decision is so simple that a little child can do it, but it is so profound that it will change everything about your every day life and about your eternity. To make this decision, there are three things that you must do:
A - Admit that you are a sinner. That Bible teaches us in Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God." We are all sinners - by birth; by choice; by action. In order to be connected to God in a personal way, you must first admit that you are a sinner.
B - Believe that Jesus Christ is God's Son and your Savior. The Bible teaches us in Acts 16:31. "...Believe on the Lord Jesus and you will be saved..." To be connected to God, you must believe that Jesus did for you what no one else could do - that He died on the cross as the perfect sacrifice for your sin.
C - Confess your sin and ask Jesus to forgive you of your sin. The Bible teaches us in Romans 10:9, "...if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
If you are willing to do these three things, then you need to communicate that to Jesus with a simple prayer like this:
"Dear Jesus, I understand that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself from that sin. I believe that you are God's Son and I believe that you gave your life on the cross to save me from my sin. Right now, I ask you to forgive me of my sin and to save my soul. Jesus, you died for me; help me to live for you. In your name I pray - Amen."
If you sincerely prayed this prayer, you are now connected to God as a child of God! There is a great celebration happening right now in heaven over your birth into the
